As proud members of the Dynamic and Historic Eastern Region, we are delighted to share our journey and accomplishments with you. Founded on January 13, 1913, by 22 visionary women at Howard University, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. stands as a beacon of public service and advocacy for the Black community, boasting a membership of over 350,000.
Our chapter, initially established as Alpha Epsilon on April 3, 1927, and officially chartered as the Pittsburgh Alumnae Chapter in January 1971, continues to thrive with over 300 members. We are dedicated to sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action, guided by our commitment to the Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

Through community support and successful fundraising, we proudly award scholarships and support various youth and community programs throughout Pittsburgh and beyond. We are committed to collaborating with like-minded organizations to maximize our impact.
