The Pittsburgh Alumnae Chapter is pleased to announce the rebirth of May Week 2021, The REDaissance. We invite you to support our weeklong celebration by attending or sharing our events listed below!
Monday, May 3rd: Gentle Yoga – Taking time to acknowledge and spend time on our physical and mental health, a virtual outside yoga session led by local Deltas, Mia Jennings & Joyce Howard
Tuesday, May 4th: Taste of Soul – During this night of cultural engagement, Deltas with gather the community to virtually share cultural customs through storytelling; followed by a virtual, African American cooking demonstration led by a local chef. In addition to this night of storytelling, Delta will also donate books of all levels to our partnering organizations to provide support to their already established tutoring and ESL programs
Wednesday, May 5: You Be the Judge: Electing a Judiciary Webinar – A lively discussion about the Pennsylvania judiciary and how the make-up of the courts can directly impact our lives

Thursday, May 6th: The REDaissance Woman: Pioneers in Politics Webinar – Women such as Vice President Kamala Harris and Past National President Soror Marcia Fudge are continuing to blaze trails for women of color during a tumultuous time for our nation, as Delta has for the past 108 years. This webinar event will honor and speak to Sorors and other Black women leaders who are influencing politics in 2020 and beyond.

Friday, May 7: The Speakeasy: Virtual Karaoke with Deltas – Ending May Week on a high note for music lovers and those who love to sing.
