DESCRIPTION:Pittsburgh Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority\, Inc. is hosting a webinar “Spotlight on Authors”\, a conversation sure to encourage the writer in you! We have three nationally recognized women authors who are natives of Pittsburgh gracing us this day. By the end of our time together\, we hope to inspire others to write and share their own stories! We want to increase exposure of the authors while promoting their work and increasing sales!  \nIn the Spotlight\, our Authors are: \nDeesha Philyaw is a nationally recognized author who wrote “The Secret Lives of Church Ladies”\, a book recommended by Essence magazine and is being adapted into a production that will be featured on HBO/ HBO Max. \nDr. Margaret Larkins-Pettigrew is a accomplished Obstetrics Gynecologic physician\, professor and leader in Diversity\, Equity & Inclusion turned author. She is pursuing her passion in writing about the perils of African American women as it relates to the realities of politics\, sexism\, racism\, drugs & the criminal system. \nDebra Clark is a well known author who shares stories about the struggle of slavery\, family narratives and the success of African Americans despite the Jim Crow era. \nClick HERE to Purchase Tickets

DESCRIPTION:Cuisine and Colors is a 2-evening event which includes Experience Boxes* for artistic and culinary expressions. Guests are invited to spend two virtual evenings making art – culinary arts and visual arts that is – with friends from coast to coast from the comfort of your own home.  \nThere are 3 ticket options:  \n\nCuisine Event: $30.00 each (includes a Digital Experience Box and access to the Silent Auction).\nColors Event: $40.00 each (includes an Experience Box with art supplies and access to the Silent Auction).\nSilent Auction Access\, only: No Fee\, No Experience Box (access to the Silent Auction from March 20-April 10\, 2021)\n\nNote \n\nBundled Ticket and Culinary Single Ticket Ends March 5\, 2021.
