DESCRIPTION:It’s Gardening Time! \nJoin the Pittsburgh Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority\, Inc. for our annual gardening project that will be taking place at the intersection of Frankstown Avenue and Bennett Street. \nFriends and family are welcome to attend. This is an opportunity to contribute to beautifying our community. \nDon’t miss this opportunity for Fellowship\, Community Service\, and a Healthy Workout. \nAs a volunteer: \n\nYou will be planting and mulching annual flowers.\nChildren are welcome under adult supervision (planting day is not usually appropriate for children under eight).\nWe plant rain or shine.\nThe Conservancy provides the plants\, general planting instructions\, gloves (you are welcome to bring your own)\nDress for the weather—layers if it is cool\, rain gear if it is wet\, sunscreen and hats for bright days. You will get dirty!\nWear sturdy shoes to protect your feet.  No sandals allowed!\nWater and snacks will be provided.\nMasks will be provided but feel free to bring your own.\nSocial distancing guidelines will be enforced.\n\nQuestions?
